PhD Islamic Studies

At the postgraduate level, the department offers research-based degree programs aimed at cultivating critical thinking, intellectual development, and specialized knowledge. PhD scholars must complete 18 credit hours of coursework followed by a research dissertation. These programs are aligned with HEC guidelines and designed to foster meaningful contributions to academic research and societal development.

Doctoral study builds on classical Islamic sciences and contemporary engagement, enabling scholars to analyze and address current global and societal challenges from an Islamic perspective and to produce original research of academic value.
